Nike TOMA street soccer activation in AtlantaCase 01

Event Curation · Event Management

Nike

One of the best TOMA activations

Curation and execution of TOMA Atlanta — Nike's global street soccer series.

Overview
Akanni handled event curation and event management for TOMA, Nike's street soccer series running across Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. Our remit covered the Atlanta portion end to end — staffing, show-running, and day-of operations.
Problem
Nike needed genuine local connection to enter the Atlanta market authentically. A global series only lands when it feels native to the city hosting it, and that requires people already embedded in the local scene — not a vendor parachuting in.
Solution
We built the Atlanta activation around the city's own street soccer community, then ran staffing, show-running, and operations on the ground. The result was an organic local experience — with Atlanta recognized as one of the strongest activations in the TOMA series.

Omnichannel Growth · Wholesale

Syair Saihara

10x

Business growth within 12 months

Multi-channel growth and wholesale expansion for sustained revenue.

Overview
Omnichannel marketing that took Syair Saihara from a validated brand idea to a 10x business inside twelve months. We ran paid media and channel oversight across Meta, Google, Snapchat, and TikTok, plus email and wholesale.
Problem
The brand idea was validated, but there was no infrastructure behind it — no systems for production, content, or marketing. As a solo founder, the constraint wasn't ambition; it was that every hour spent building marketing was an hour not spent on creative.
Solution
We built the marketing infrastructure the brand was missing and ran it, so the founder could stay focused on the work only they could do. Alongside paid and lifecycle channels, we opened a wholesale channel that now drives roughly 30% of annual growth with no additional ad spend.

Partnerships · Community

Atlanta United

Fans turned into participants

Strategic partnership and community-led street soccer tournament to drive fan engagement.

Overview
A strategic partnership between Atlanta United and Five Points Cup, using an emerging local street soccer platform as the engine for community engagement. Fans received match tickets and custom kits through the partnership.
Problem
Atlanta United wanted stronger local relevance. Reaching supporters through broadcast and matchday alone left a gap — the club needed a way to meet its community where it already played.
Solution
We connected the club to Five Points Cup, turning an existing grassroots soccer platform into a fan engagement funnel. Tickets and custom kits gave supporters a tangible stake, converting passive fans into active participants in the club's local ecosystem.

Paid Media · Omnichannel · Wholesale

Visionary Club

Solo founder → seven figures

Omni-channel growth build — a paid media engine and lifecycle messaging engineered for compounding revenue.

Overview
A multi-season partnership that took Visionary Club from a solo-founder operation to a seven-figure business. We started with paid media, then expanded into additional channels and services as the brand matured and reinvested season after season.
Problem
Like most founder-led brands, Visionary Club had product and vision but no marketing infrastructure — and no team to build it. Growth depended entirely on the founder's own bandwidth.
Solution
We began with ads to establish reliable demand, then layered in services as the brand's reinvestment allowed — building an omnichannel engine season over season and adding a wholesale channel to compound revenue beyond paid acquisition.

Fractional CMO · Lead Generation

CureHire

$280K

Account booked in their sleep

Fractional CMO engagement — Google, paid media, and LinkedIn presence generating leads from industry decision-makers.

Overview
A fractional CMO engagement covering Google Ads and LinkedIn lead generation — building CureHire a real marketing arm where there hadn't been one.
Problem
The business ran on previous accounts and word of mouth, with little to no true marketing function. The team was too busy operating to build one themselves — so new pipeline depended on relationships rather than a system.
Solution
We built an autonomous lead generation system that surfaces qualified leads for the sales team without founder involvement. Within seven days it connected them with a company that booked a $280K account — closed while they slept.

End-to-End Execution

Five Points Cup

400K+

Impressions generated

Branding, marketing, content, and on-site activations — end-to-end tournament execution.

Overview
A free street soccer tournament built to ride World Cup momentum in Atlanta. Akanni owned it end to end: ideation, branding, marketing systems, event curation, collaborations, space curation, and day-of operations.
Problem
With visitors arriving for the World Cup, Atlanta needed a soccer-centered experience that felt authentically local — not a generic tie-in, but something rooted in the city's own culture.
Solution
We created the tournament from concept through execution, building the brand and the marketing systems around it, then curating the space and running the event live. It generated over 400,000 impressions, spotlighted both the city and the venue, and delivered the local, soccer-first experience Atlanta needed for the moment.

Partnerships · Curated Activations

City of Atlanta

An authentic local partnership

Content and curated activations on behalf of the city in the lead-up to the World Cup.

Overview
In the lead-up to the World Cup, the City of Atlanta wanted to support something already real and rooted in the community rather than manufacture a new campaign. We positioned a partnership with Five Points Cup as that vehicle.
Problem
The city needed culturally relevant experiences for incoming visitors — programming with genuine local credibility, not a top-down activation built for the occasion.
Solution
We connected the city to Five Points Cup, an existing, community-owned soccer platform with real local standing. The partnership gave Atlanta an authentic experience to point visitors toward, and gave the grassroots event institutional support behind it.

Consulting · Merchandising Systems

Club Space

More releases, better margins

Merch channel optimization and an in-house merchandising system built with the internal team.

Overview
We optimized Club Space's merch channels and helped the team build an internal merchandising system — moving production capability in-house rather than running it for them.
Problem
Relying on outside producers capped how many releases they could run and squeezed margins on every drop. The bottleneck wasn't demand; it was dependency.
Solution
We consulted with the internal team on process and coached them into an in-house merchandising setup they own outright. The result: more releases, healthier margins, and faster execution — without a permanent outside dependency.
